We’re Catherine and Liv. Our story of friendship is a classic one, with a twist. Picture this, it’s 2021, you start a new job and sit next to a girl, instantly becoming friends. Three years later you’re not only still best friends but now also business partners. 

With a combined experience of nearly two decades in the fashion industry, it was only a matter of time before we took our skills and turned our endless hours of dreaming of having something of our own into a reality. 

Amongst the long list of things we love to do together, starting our day with a pilates class and a coffee afterwards is at the top. A part we didn’t love though? We were unable to find grip socks that were functional and looked good with our outfits (we are fashion girls after all).

Not only that, but we found that as soon as class finished, the first thing we would do is take off our socks. This is because they weren’t crafted to seamlessly transition into the rest of our day, and so ‘As You Are Co’ began.

With features such as smaller grips, making them able to be comfortably worn with your shoes as well as in class, AYA socks have been designed specifically to take you from studio to street.
